In 2017, at the age of 12, Courtney competed in the inaugural season of The Voice Kids UK. Her blind audition featured a performance of Tina Turner’s “Nutbush City Limits,” which led judge Danny Jones to select her for his team. Courtney advanced to the final stages of the competition, showcasing her powerful vocals and stage presence.
The following year, Courtney auditioned for the 13th season of America’s Got Talent (AGT). Her rendition of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle” astonished the judges and audience alike, earning her a Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel and propelling her directly to the live shows.
