I Thought Something Was Wrong With My Garden—Then I Got a Closer Look at the Strange Red Growth and Finally Understood What It Was

It started as an ordinary morning in the garden.

I was watering the plants and checking on the flowers when something unusual near the edge of a flower bed caught my attention.

At first, I couldn’t tell what I was looking at.

Partly hidden among the grass and damp soil was a bright red object with an unusual shape and a glossy surface. It stood out against the surrounding green leaves and brown earth.
