The footage showed a nurse rushing toward an apparently unconscious patient while medical equipment surrounded the bed. The scene was filmed in a convincing hospital setting, and the nurse appeared to respond urgently as she attempted to help the patient.
For many viewers, the video looked like a genuine medical emergency.
Soon after it began circulating, however, questions emerged about its authenticity.
