Some of the funniest moments in a long marriage happen during ordinary situations.
A small misunderstanding, a perfectly timed response, or a playful remark can turn an otherwise forgettable moment into a story that gets repeated for years.
One such joke begins with a wife stepping out of the bathroom and noticing that the curtains are still open. Concerned that someone outside might be able to see inside, she immediately asked her husband to close them.
Her husband could have simply reached over and pulled the curtains shut.
Instead, he came up with a quick response that turned her concern into a joke.
