“These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, it’s pissing me off a little bit,” Lambert said, motioning toward the audience. “Sorry, I don’t like it at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”
While the concert crowd largely cheered Lambert’s remarks, the moment sparked widespread backlash online. Social media users accused Lambert of embarrassing and shaming a loyal fan who had paid to be at the show.
