SOTD! This Little Boy Grew Up To Be One Of The Most Evil Men In The World

On a warm spring day in May 1960, a baby boy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His parents, a young chemistry student and a teletype machine instructor, named him Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer. To anyone on the outside, they seemed like an ordinary American family — hopeful, hardworking, and proud of their first child.

For the first few years of his life, Jeffrey was bright, curious, and full of energy. He laughed often and loved exploring the world around him. But after a medical procedure at the age of four, something in his personality began to shift. The once lively little boy became unusually quiet, withdrawn, and distant.
His father’s studies often kept him away from home, while his mother struggled with her own emotional challenges. As a result, Jeffrey grew up in an unstable and lonely environment. Teachers described him as polite but detached. He had few friends, spending much of his time alone, lost in his own world.

By his teenage years, that isolation had deepened. He developed a fascination with death and anatomy — interests that, at first glance, seemed like scientific curiosity but eventually took on a much darker meaning. He began collecting small animal bones and remains, studying them privately. Friends found it strange, but no one imagined how serious it would become.

His parents’ marriage eventually collapsed under years of tension. Arguments filled the house, and when they divorced, Jeffrey’s mother left with his younger brother, leaving him behind at just eighteen years old.
