Millions of homeowners use it every day, shoving in pans, baking sheets, and random cookware—but few realize what it was actually designed to do.

For most, that drawer is just storage. It’s convenient, wide, and shallow—a perfect hiding spot for awkward cookware. Over time, it becomes invisible, blending into the kitchen like wallpaper.
