What Was Spotted in Renee Good’s Car Before the Deadly ICE Incident

The fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis has sparked nationwide outrage — and questions about what really happened.

Renee Nicole Good, a poet, writer, and mother of three, was killed Wednesday during a confrontation with federal immigration officers. While the Department of Homeland Security labeled the incident as “an act of domestic terrorism” and claimed Good had “weaponized her vehicle,” videos circulating online tell a very different story. Many viewers see her trying to flee, not attack.

In the footage, an ICE officer reaches for Good’s car door. She reverses sharply, wheels angled away from him, attempting to escape. The officer is clipped but not knocked down, and almost immediately fires multiple shots through her windshield and driver-side window. Her SUV then travels roughly 100 feet before crashing. The entire encounter lasts less than 10 seconds.

Social media erupted. Viewers called it murder, not self-defense. One Reddit user highlighted the crucial detail: “THE WHEELS ARE FULLY TURNED AWAY FROM THE OFFICER. Watch in SLOW MO. No intention to hit anyone. Sole intention… to leave the scene, NOT a threat.”
