A Spooky Season Gesture of Kindness
Halloween is a time for thrills, chills, and festive fun, but sometimes compassion is the greatest treat of all. Salena Webb, a South Carolina mom of four, showed the true spirit of kindness when she adjusted her elaborate Halloween decorations for the sake of a neighbor’s peace of mind.
@thatsnorthsense My family knows i loveeee Halloween and my decorations took me awhile to make and put up. I had just purshased the skeleton carrying the casket to go along with my graveyard to really set my halloween decor off this year🥴 I was a little sad at first but i thought about the bigger picture. Me removing my casket isnt hurting me at all but it may ease and bring my neighbor a little bit of peace as he adjusts to this news. Kindness is free and compassion goes a long way. A Heartfelt Request
Salena had transformed her front yard into a spooky graveyard scene, complete with ghosts, tombstones, skeletons carrying a casket, and other eerie props. However, her neighbor approached her with a heartfelt request. His elderly father, recently diagnosed with lung cancer, found the sight of the casket unsettling. Understanding his perspective, Salena didn’t hesitate to make changes.
