The moment I picked it up, I knew it wasn’t something ordinary.
It fit neatly in the palm of my hand, yet it felt surprisingly solid and heavy. As I turned it over, a bright red light suddenly flashed, and the device vibrated softly.
I nearly dropped it.
My mind immediately filled with questions.

Why had it been hidden away on a dusty shelf?
