The first time Jonathan noticed the symbol, he thought it might cost him his career.
The second time, he began to wonder whether the consequences could be far more serious.
What started as an unusual detail buried in an old story had quickly become something he couldn’t ignore. The more he investigated, the more strange connections began to appear. Forgotten reports resurfaced. Old accounts seemed to point toward the same unexplained symbol. Information that had been buried for years was suddenly finding its way back into the light.
And Jonathan was beginning to realize that someone, somewhere, didn’t want him asking questions.
He sat at his desk, surrounded by documents, staring at contracts that seemed increasingly difficult to read. The offers were tempting. There was money, professional security, and even the promise of a better position if he simply agreed to step away from the investigation.
All he had to do was stop looking.
The message behind the offer seemed clear enough: leave the past alone, and the future would be comfortable.
But Jonathan couldn’t shake the feeling that the symbol meant something.
Maybe the strange object near the cliff was nothing more than an unusual formation. Perhaps the reports were exaggerated, the photographs misleading, and the stories connected by nothing more than coincidence.
