With heavy hearts Son Of Pawn Stars Rick Harrison Has Passed Away

Rick Harrison, well-known from the reality show Pawn Stars, has spoken publicly following the loss of his son, Adam Harrison. Adam, aged 39, passed away in Las Vegas due to a fentanyl overdose last Friday, leaving the Harrison family in profound grief.

“You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam,” Rick wrote in an Instagram post, sharing a photo of the two smiling together at a bar. A family representative, Laura Herlovich, also confirmed Adam’s passing to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, stating, “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”

Speaking with Fox News Digital, Rick offered more insight into Adam’s passing and expressed deep concern about the ongoing fentanyl crisis across the United States. “Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” he said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It’s flowing over the borders unchecked, and not enough is being done. We must do better to protect our communities.”

Condolences quickly poured in, including a note from Donald Trump Jr., who offered, “I’m so sorry, man.” Corey Harrison, Adam’s brother, also paid tribute on Instagram, posting a childhood photo of the two in the bathtub and writing, “Wax wtf. I will always love you, bubba.”

Adam was Rick’s second child from his first marriage to Kim Harrison. Although Rick and Corey Harrison are prominent figures in the world of reality television—famously operating the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and appearing on Pawn Stars—Adam maintained a more private life, sometimes collaborating behind the scenes with his father.

Adam’s story now brings attention to the escalating fentanyl crisis. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, fatal overdoses from synthetic opioids, including fentanyl, jumped by over 56% between January 2020 and 2021. Even an amount of fentanyl as small as two milligrams can prove lethal, highlighting the severe risks posed by the drug.

In calling for stronger action, Rick Harrison echoes the urgent need for increased efforts to tackle fentanyl’s impact. The Harrison family asks for privacy in this difficult period. Our deepest sympathy goes out to them as they cope with this profound loss.
