Visible veins are common and, in many cases, are simply a normal feature of the body. Veins may become easier to see because of factors such as genetics, body composition, exercise, temperature, age, and changes in the skin.
Having prominent veins does not automatically indicate a health problem. What matters most is whether the change is new, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms.
