At first glance, this winter scene looks peaceful and familiar. Snow blankets the ground, trees stretch across the landscape, and a deer stands out as the most noticeable feature.
But there may be another image hidden within the scene.
Somewhere among the tree trunks, branches, shadows, and gaps between them, the shapes appear to form a human face. The challenge is finding it without letting the more obvious details distract you.
The Deer Might Be Distracting You
When we look at a picture, our attention often goes first to objects that are easy to recognize.
In this scene, the deer provides an obvious focal point. Its familiar outline naturally draws the eye, while the surrounding trees may seem like little more than background scenery.
