Richard pulled his arm away gently, but firmly.
I stood there in the driveway, completely confused.
Behind us, Jason hadn’t moved.
He was staring at Richard with the same stunned expression.
“Mom,” Jason said quietly.
I turned toward him.
“What is going on?”
He looked at Richard.
