An elevator ride is usually one of the most forgettable moments of the day.
You step inside, press a button, watch the doors close, and wait a few seconds until you reach your floor.
For one woman, however, an ordinary ride in a quiet residential building became an experience she couldn’t easily explain.
At first, nothing seemed unusual.
The hallway was calm. The elevator appeared to be working normally, and there was no obvious reason to feel concerned.
Yet as the ride continued, she began paying attention to details she would normally have ignored.
