A family in Jardim das Américas is grieving after a two-month-old baby died following an overnight incident that remains under investigation by authorities.
Preliminary reports indicate the infant had been with his father when the emergency occurred. The father was reportedly very tired and had been holding the baby before falling asleep. Emergency services were later called to the home.
Responders from SAMU attended the scene, but the child could not be revived.
Police Are Still Establishing What Happened
The Civil Police have opened an investigation and are working to understand the sequence of events that led to the baby’s death.
