What We Know So Far About the Fatal Accident That Killed 19 People-

A serious traffic accident involving multiple vehicles disrupted travel on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway near Huehuetoca, State of Mexico, after a tractor-trailer became involved in a chain-reaction collision that blocked several lanes and created significant congestion.

The incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, November 20, near kilometer marker 59+000, close to the Jorobas area. Emergency crews, law enforcement officers, and traffic officials responded quickly to manage the situation and assist those involved.

Chain-Reaction Collision Under Investigation

According to preliminary information, the trailer was traveling toward Mexico City when the driver was unable to stop before reaching traffic ahead. The vehicle reportedly struck an embankment before colliding with multiple passenger vehicles and a pickup truck.

The impact left the trailer positioned across several lanes, temporarily obstructing both northbound and southbound traffic and causing major delays for motorists traveling through the area.

Authorities have not yet determined the exact cause of the crash, and an investigation remains ongoing.
