A walking cane is usually a simple everyday object designed to provide balance, support, and stability. But one Spanish craftsman took this familiar item to an extraordinary scale, creating a wooden walking cane that measures more than six metres long and earning a place in the record books.
His name is Dalmacio Fernández Heras, and his remarkable creation measures an incredible 6.16 metres (20 feet 2.52 inches) in length. The record was achieved on March 29, 2018, in Saldaña, Palencia, Spain.
His achievement transformed an ordinary walking stick into an extraordinary example of craftsmanship, patience, and imagination.
