It started with a sentence that instantly changed the mood in the room:
“I think it’s alive.”
A few seconds earlier, nobody had paid much attention to the strange object sitting under the bed.
Then someone noticed it.
It was small, oddly shaped, and covered with what appeared to be dust and residue. Under the dim light, its curved form looked surprisingly like something living.
One person thought they could see a tiny head.
Another noticed what looked like a body.
