My grandmother Rose had never seen the ocean.
At 86 years old, she had spent most of her life putting everyone else first. She rarely bought anything for herself, rarely complained, and always seemed to have a reason why someone else needed something more than she did.
So when I finally saved enough money, I decided it was time to give her something she had always dreamed about.
I bought two tickets to Florida.
