My girlfriend had just returned from walking our dog when she noticed something unusual caught in his fur.
At first glance, the small, translucent object looked completely unfamiliar. It was tangled among the strands of his coat and appeared especially strange under the kitchen light.
Naturally, we wanted to figure out what it was.
We carefully checked the surrounding fur and started thinking of all the possibilities. Could it have been a tick? Some kind of plant material? Perhaps something the dog had picked up while exploring outside?
Our dog, meanwhile, seemed completely unconcerned. He continued wandering around the apartment and wagging his tail while we inspected his coat.
