Fans of legendary rock singer Rod Stewart were left concerned after the 81-year-old performer was forced to pause a concert in Utah and receive oxygen onstage following a frightening health scare.
The incident occurred during Stewart’s June 19 performance at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City. Audience members noticed that the veteran singer appeared less energetic than usual, leaning on stage equipment and occasionally seeking support while continuing to perform. According to reports and videos shared online, Stewart eventually stopped the show briefly after feeling unwell.
Crew members quickly brought an oxygen tank to the stage, allowing the singer to recover before addressing the crowd. Stewart reassured fans with his trademark humor, reportedly telling concertgoers that he had nearly fainted before adding, “The show must go on.” Despite the scare, he chose to continue the performance from a seated position and completed the concert to loud applause from the audience.
