But there is an important distinction between what was reported about the birth and what can actually be verified about the person’s life today.
Why the Birth Was So Unusual
Most full-term newborns weigh considerably less than 7 kilograms. An unusually large newborn may be described medically as having fetal macrosomia, although the exact definition can vary depending on the clinical context.
A very high birth weight can be associated with several factors, including genetics, pregnancy duration, maternal diabetes, and a history of previous large babies.
However, those possibilities cannot be used to explain an individual birth without reliable medical information.
